Well, I realized the other day that I post photos here on dA quite a bit and post journals about things going on in my life, but I have yet to tell you all about what I do for a living (besides all of the mommy stuff ). Anyway, I am one of the photographers for The Prepared Pantry. I would say that 65% of the photos found on their website I took. (I would love the say that all of the best ones are mine, but they do use some stock photography for some of their photos that are quite good. I just submitted one that I just took tonight for one of our newsletters on muffins. (See the muffin newsletter here...).

A little background info . . . My parents own The Prepared Pantry (www.preparedpantry.com). And for the past 4 years basically I have been their photographer, webmaster, and graphic designer. That is what got me started in photography and web design in the 1st place. I got the hang of it and decided I liked it. If I'm not around my dad will attempt with the camera (no offense dad) so there are a few marginal photos on the site that I will not take credit for and when we just don't have the time, energy, or the food to photograph we head over to istockphoto and see what we can find. So there are some stock photos used too.

So I was bouncing from computer to computer here at work and noticed that my photos look different on each monitor. For those of you who have come across this same problem, take a look at this handy little chart while you adjust your monitor's brightness/contrast settings... Thanks ~kin !!
